It’s London Fashion Week and Sadie Williams showed her Autumn Winter collection.
Sadie named her AW16 collection “Off-Piste” which paid tribute to her parent’s 1970’s Ski holidays.
I was so excited to see this collection as I have been a fan of Sadie’s since seeing her collaboration that she did with & Other Stories.
The collection, very cleverly featured quilted skirts teamed with graphic knitwear and metallic tops. The added addition of patchwork tweed fabrics created in to kilts brought a grounding depth to the collection.
I really love this collection the little details that she has added i.e. frozen icicle laces shows her beautiful attention to detail. I think that these pieces could be add to anyone wardrobe to create a fun retro Autumn Winter feel yet with a fresh modern take.
Key takeouts from collection: Quilted skirts, graphic knitwear, kilts and metallic fabrics.
