It’s London Fashion Week and duo Fyodor Podgorny and Golan Frydman showed their Autumn Winter collection.
Styling true to their mishmash style the influence for this collection was “Birth of Venus/Pin up/ Nicole Wermers/ Textures/Oliver Michaels/Industrialisation/Alexander Liberam/ Rhythm”. Quite eclectic, I think you would agree.
The first think that strikes you is the graphic oversized flora prints which I am totally in love with. This is then proceed by ‘Birth of Venus’ and Coca-Cola script and shapes which have been manipulated in to graphic designs. The colour palette is strong and bright but then we see more commercial colours of black been sent down the catwalk with hints of the bright colours previously seen through oversized eyeslet which is then teamed with metallics and fur to give texture.
Key takeouts from collection: Oversized coats, A line skirts and dresses, bold pattern tights and graphic prints.
What do you think?
