It’s London Fashion Week and Ryan Lo showed his Autumn Winter collection.
For Ryan’s Autumn Winter 16 collection, he took influence from the Chinese New Year with a rather romantic nostalgia playing with childhood his memories and spirituality of his Hong Kong up bring but also celebrating his 7th season showing at London Fashion Week and his 10th year living away from hometown.
Sending the models through pink paper arches wearing a sweet shop colour palette mix of textures which I really loved, rushed metallic tulle’s were teamed with chunky knitwear and fur jackets, while graphic floral wool coats were teamed with the softness of satin dresses.
I really love the fun kitsch tone to this collection which has been crafted with passion to give a fresh modern feel.
Key takeouts from collection: Metallic’s, textured wools, and chunky knitwear.
